Apost Khan News 4/14/08
*First I apologize for the “Gold Standard” sampler not being uploaded yet, I’m still working on some mastering work that needs to be done before that can be stitched together. I was a little too optimistic before, but now I’ll give you a little more conservative estimate as to when you’ll see the sampler, and thats likely somewhere around the 24th or 25th.
*Second, you’ll be happy to hear I’m living up to what I’ve promised. This mixtape for a certainly has a distinctly different tone than “Orator Colossus”. To give you an idea, I’m shooting for this to be an “I Am” type cd. The perfect hybrid between mainstream and underground. I’m really proud of that. So this time around all my detractors will be silenced. On O.C. I purposely sided with lyrics over flow, because I felt it was important for me to make a statement right out of the box that I can match any emcee with the exception of maybe Canibus, lyrically. In hindsight, while I achieved what I set out to do, and any true UG head can vibe to O.C. I sort of set my self up for a fall. As most of my lyrical content was far too complex for average fans to even give my whole album a full listen. So now I stand having already proved my lyric prowess. So what remains? Well proving once and for all to everyone of you that I can flow just as well as anyone else. I’ve got a few tracks that no doubt are really going to shock and amaze some of ya’ll. On O.C. I showed my merit and acumen as a writer, here I prove my worth as an emcee. Again no worries tho, while a bit toned down, the lyrics still remain hotter than hellfire. 
*Lastly, this past week was an aversion, never again will this site go so long without a post of some sort. It was just a crazy week with the semester wrapping up early next month, this mixtape demanding so much time and effort, as well as filming and editing my latest video which also got pushed back.
