Apost Khan News 4/6/08

Well, finally the blog has launched, and now I can unveil some major news that I’ve been holding back. So here we go. Heres the complete run down.

*May 6th I will bring to you, a completely free downloadable mixtape entitled “The Gold Standard”. The album will feature upwards of 20 tracks. So far collabos include “Been Around The World” with Asoka, several Poet Laurette Infinity blends with Canibus, an Evanescence blend, as well as some more guest spots that you’ll hear about in due time. Production will be handled by Battleme, King Richard, Memorecks and myself. Expect a few joints over familiar beats as well as some perhaps not so familiar ones. This mixtape will bridge the gap so to speak, as O.C. seemed to be a little too over peoples heads as far as content and a little too underground. So expect this to be a little easier to get into. But don’t worry. I’m not selling my soul just yet.

*I’ve just finished shooting another short film entitled “12 Seconds”, expect to see that uploaded within the next week. Again it’s progressively better than my latter two works.

*New tracks and a “Gold Standard” sampler will hit my myspace page by Saturday. So check for them.
